Cookies & Preferences
This page explains how Grant Whiting trading as WhitingWeb uses cookies and related browser technologies, which technologies are necessary for the website to operate, and how optional analytics are controlled through your consent choices.

Cookies are small pieces of information that a website or related service can store in your browser or device.
They can be used to remember preferences, support security and website functionality, manage consent choices, or measure how visitors use a website.
WhitingWeb separates technologies that are necessary for the website to operate from optional analytics technologies. Optional analytics cookies are not stored unless analytics consent has been granted.
These technologies support functions required for the website to operate correctly, including caching and storing your cookie-consent choice.
Necessary cookies cannot be disabled through the analytics preference setting because they support functionality required to operate the website or remember the choice you have made.
WhitingWeb uses Google Analytics through Google Site Kit to understand general patterns in how visitors use the website.
This may include information such as pages visited, session activity, browser and device information, approximate geographic information, and how visitors navigate through the site.
In the current WhitingWeb configuration, these Google Analytics cookies are not stored until you choose Accept Analytics or otherwise enable analytics through Cookie Preferences.
WhitingWeb also uses Google Consent Mode v2 through CookieAdmin Pro. This allows Google tags to receive consent-state signals and adjust their behaviour according to your cookie choice. Depending on Google's Consent Mode behaviour, limited cookieless measurement signals may be sent while analytics storage is denied, but Google Analytics cookies are not stored until analytics consent is granted.
WhitingWeb does not currently use marketing or advertising cookies.
WhitingWeb uses Cloudflare Turnstile on relevant forms to help distinguish legitimate visitors from automated or abusive submissions.
Turnstile may process technical browser or device signals needed to perform the security check. No separate Turnstile cookie was detected during the current WhitingWeb cookie scan.
Security technologies that are reasonably necessary to protect forms and the website are treated as necessary rather than analytics technologies.
More information about how personal information is handled is available in the WhitingWeb Privacy Policy .
You can choose whether WhitingWeb may use optional analytics cookies.
Rejecting optional analytics does not prevent you from browsing the website or submitting a project enquiry. Necessary technologies used for website functionality, security, caching and consent management remain available.
You can review or change your cookie choices at any time. The same preference control is also available under Cookie Preferences in the website footer.
Some website functionality depends on third-party services. Those providers may process information necessary to provide the relevant service.
Google Analytics is used for optional website measurement. Google processes relevant information according to its own privacy terms and the consent signals supplied by the website.
Cloudflare Turnstile is used for form and abuse protection. Cloudflare processes relevant technical information according to its own privacy practices.
CookieAdmin Pro provides WhitingWeb's cookie-consent banner, stores consent choices, manages cookie categories and provides the preference interface used to accept, reject or change optional cookie choices.
CookieAdmin is also configured to manage Google Consent Mode v2 signals for the website.
LiteSpeed Cache is used to support website performance and
cache delivery. The necessary
_lscache_vary cookie helps ensure that the
appropriate cached version of the website is served.
The cookie information above reflects the cookies detected and verified on the live WhitingWeb website at the time this policy was last updated.
Cookies, storage technologies or expiry periods may change when WordPress, CookieAdmin, Google Analytics, LiteSpeed, security services or other website components are updated.
CookieAdmin is used to scan and categorise cookies used by the website. The Cookie Preferences interface shows the current consent categories available to visitors.
This policy may be updated when WhitingWeb changes its analytics, website functionality, security services, consent-management system, cookies or related technologies.
The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows when the published policy was most recently revised.
